  • Van* services for people 60+ and/or people with disabilities are available for:
    • Doctor Appointments
    • Grocery Store
    • Bank
    • Beauty salon
    • Senior Center
    • etc.
  • A donation of $4 is suggested.
  • Please try to schedule at least 24 hours in advance.  Same day appointments may be available, if schedule permits.
  • Call 940.872.4500 to schedule a ride.

*Van is wheelchair accessible.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How long will the driver wait for me?

You may be picked up 15 minutes before to 15 minutes after your scheduled pickup time.  Drivers are only required to wait 15 minutes past your set pickup time.

How do you know when I am ready to go home?

When you are ready to picked up, call 940.872.4500 and the driver will be there within 45 minutes.

Can I schedule a trip out of town?

If you need a ride to an out-of-town doctor appointment, give the Bowie Senior Center a call.  We’ll do what we can to help you find a ride and/or explore possible ride options.
